Previous Scholarship Winners

Charity Fleck, a senior at Ilwaco HIgh School was the 2017 PAA Scholarship recipient. She works in various mediums including watercolor. Charity is pursuing an arts education at Western Washington University.

Aaron Humber also was a senior at Ilwaco High School when he received our 2016 PAA Scholarship.

How much is the scholarship?

PAA’s provides a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior interested in furthering their art education, through college courses, art workshops, the purchase of art supplies or equipment, or private lessons.

Who is eligible? 

Graduating seniors from high schools in Naselle-Grays River Valley or Ocean Beach school districts including home schooled students. We do require that the student maintain a 2.5 GPA and have a portfolio of finished visual art work to present at the interview.

What’s the process? 

Applications are reviewed by the PAA scholarship committee and applicants are interviewed at the end of May. The scholarship is awarded prior to graduation.

How do you apply? 

PAA provides local schools with application information. Completed applications must be sent to PAA at PO Box 321, Ocean Park, WA 98640.
