Here’s a little taste of our smaller events during the year…

 31st Annual Northwest Garlic Festival

June 16 & 17 ~ Beach Baron’s Field in Ocean Park (located on Sandridge Road, just south of Bay Avenue).  

PAA will have a cluster of individual artists’ tents to tempt visitors to the festival with original artwork, jewelry, clay, photography, one-of-a-kind items, metal art and art cards…to name a few.  A tent will be set-up for the sole purpose of selling this year’s 2012 Garlic Poster.  Printed in a limited edition of 100, each archival print is signed, numbered and packaged for safe transport.  For Garlic Festival information, call the Ocean Park Area Chamber at: 360-665-4448 or visit their website www.opwa.com

Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade

Held in Ocean Park, Washington…a taste of parades from our youth.  PAA hands our sidewalk chalk to the children with directions to “Make Art”!  The streets are filled with their work…stroll around after the parade and see what they create!

Starving Artists’ Sale

July 7 ~ Locati0n in Ocean Park to be announced…the Ocean Park Library, which has been our home for several years will be undergoing a remodel…as soon as we have a confirmed place we will post it!  Best art bargains in town!  This is the time of year that our members clear out their studios. Art, art supplies, frames, paper, canvas, books and more at rock-bottom prices.

Art in the Park and Explosion of Art

Held July 4th, Art in the Park is a gathering of artists on Sheldon Field in Ocean Park…set-up before, during and after the 4th of July Parade, the original work features local artists and a variety of media.  Over 4th of July weekend, July 6, 7 & 8, many north end galleries and artists will feature sales, demos and meet the artist events.  Oysterville hosts an Art Festival at the Oysterville Schoolhouse.  It’s an explosion of art on north end of the peninsula during 4th of July!
